Phase 13 Burnside Industrial Park Purchase Process

Deposits for available Phase 13 industrial lot inventory will be received by HRM Corporate Real Estate on a first-come basis under the terms and conditions provided below.

Phase 13 Burnside Industrial Park

The supply of industrial employment lands is a key priority outcome of Halifax Regional Council under Economic Prosperity. The Business/Industrial Parks of the Halifax Regional Municipality are one of HRM's largest commitments to the economy of the region. HRM ensures a supply of competitively priced industrial and related commercial lands for business attraction, growth and expansion. In response to continued demand for industrial land, Phase 13 of Burnside Park is being developed in three sub-phases: Phase 13-1; Phase 13-2; and Phase 13-3.

Construction of Phases 13-1 and 13-2, including streets, municipal services, natural gas, power, and communications infrastructure, has been completed. Construction of Phase 13-3 is currently underway.

Location, Transportation & Logistics

Burnside Industrial Park is centrally located to Halifax Gateway’s transportation and logistics network. The park is adjacent to five 100-series highways, providing efficient access to and from the park. Additionally, Burnside is located within minutes of downtown Halifax, Halifax International Airport, and the Port of Halifax.

The park is extensively serviced by CN Rail’s mainline, siding, and common user facilities.

Phase 13 Purchase Process

Available Phase 13 industrial lots are offered for submission of interest and negotiation of Agreement of Purchase and Sale on a first-come basis.  

Interested purchasers may submit a completed Offer Submission Form together with the required deposit. At the discretion of HRM Corporate Real Estate and subject to satisfaction of the applicable terms and conditions HRM, at its sole discretion, may negotiate an Agreement of Purchase and Sale with the purchaser.
