Updated:

Request

North West Community Council initiated an amendment to the Sackville Drive Land Use By-Law to consider allowing Food Service Vehicles (Food Trucks) as a use under the Temporary Commercial Uses Section.

Proposal

Under the current Sackville Drive Land Use By-Law, Food Service Vehicles are not permitted under any defined use. While Temporary Commercial Uses allow for certain uses in certain, Food Service Vehicles are not listed as a permitted use within this category. The proposed amendment would add Food Service Vehicles to this category and permit them within the Pedestrian Retail (PR) zone and Acadia Village Centre (VC) zone within the Sackville Drive Plan area.

Process

The application will be considered under the Land Use By-Law Amendment process
